Volta Infra

Volta develops, finances and operates “AI factories” — custom data centres built on NVIDIA's DSX platform and Vera Rubin GPU systems — and runs the whole stack itself, from capital and land through power and hardware to the provisioning and cluster-orchestration software on top. It came out of stealth in August 2026 with more than 130MW of gross power contracted at launch, over 1GW secured in total, a 100,000-GPU deployment pipeline and a $10bn partnership with an unnamed AI lab, leasing early capacity in Norway from Bitdeer. Backed by NVIDIA, Dell Technologies, Andreessen Horowitz and Altimeter Capital at a $2.4bn valuation, with offices in Palo Alto, London and New York.
