About the Role : Searching for an energetic, assertive and results driven Sales Director, Health Plan Growth to join our dynamic team of sales individuals. Reporting to the SVP of Health Plan Growth , you are responsible for business development/sales activities across targeted Regional and National Health Payers . The successful candidate understands their client’s business objectives, acting as a trusted advisor for all things related to heart health and how Hello Heart would fit within their ecosystem and across the various lines of business (e.g. Fully Insured, Medicare, Medicaid, Individual and Family Plans). This position develops and executes strategic approaches for new business development with both established pipeline opportunities and new targeted opportunities, working closely with the Hello Heart Health Plan Go-To Market team. You should be an expert at building deep relationships with large, complex organizations. You must have a demonstrated track record with successfully meeting/exceeding targets and proven success in an enterprise selling environment. With excellent communication skills, you will work cross-functionally with our internal customer success, business development, and sales teams to achieve your targets. Successful candidates will enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced, complex multi-channel environment that demands teamwork. Our team members must be willing to wear multiple hats and adapt to different situations as Hello Heart continues to grow and expand. Responsibilities: Consistently meet/exceed quota targets through new business development and client expansion opportunities. Lead prospecting, pitching, and contracting for opportunities within health payer space. Become a deep subject matter expert in all aspects related to Hello Heart and how we can deliver value with targeted regional and national health payers. A deep understanding of the various lines of business (FI, MA, Medicaid, IFP), the current and evolving suite of Hello Heart products and how clients use them to perform sales activities, as well as understanding our roadmap and competitive differentiation Manage and develop the Health Plan pipeline with forecasting predictability Negotiate and manage the execution of contracts with Health Plans. Identify and execute expansion opportunities. Qualifications: 5+ years of demonstrated Business Development or Management Consulting experience in the Health Plan /Medicare space . A demonstrated track record where you have consistently met or exceeded annual quota Demonstrated success leveraging an enterprise selling sales methodology to qualify opportunities and increase win rates Experience and success in end-to-end partnerships by developing an overall strategy to build/maintain pipelines and executing through prospecting, relationship building, pitching, and contracting. Own the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract close Fluency in relationship-building, particularly with key decision-makers and influencers. 100% independent with a demonstrated strong problem-solving skill set. A strong team player who can work with multiple functions within the company. Ability to effectively escalate to leadership matters that have a strategic impact Go-getter who operates with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a startup. Stellar written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Highly organized, able to multitask, and easily adaptable to change. Happy to always roll up your sleeves to help and get things done. Ability to travel 50% . Preference for candidates currently based in the Midwest or the West Coast. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role and level. Compensation is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
