Airtable is a San Francisco company that makes a no-code platform combining the familiarity of a spreadsheet with the structure of a relational database, on which teams build their own apps, workflows and automations. Its products include the Omni AI app builder, the HyperDB large-scale data layer and ProductCentral for product teams. Founded in 2012 by Howie Liu, Andrew Ofstad and Emmett Nicholas, it was acquired by Bending Spoons in a deal announced on 4 August 2026 at an enterprise value of $1.285 billion, which closed on 4 September 2026.
