Axelera AI designs processors and software for running AI inference at the edge and in the datacentre. Its AIPU architecture, in the Metis and newer Europa generations, uses digital in-memory computing to perform matrix-vector multiplication in place, which it says delivers more than 50 TOPS per core and about 15 TOPS per watt while holding roughly 99.9% relative accuracy after post-training quantisation. Products run from the Embedded 110m, 113m and 111c modules through the Edge 130p and Server 150p to a mini PC, supported by the Voyager SDK, its Wingman coding agent and a model zoo of over 100 networks. Founded in 2021, it is based on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
