Basecamp Research
Basecamp Research trains AI models for designing therapeutics. Its EDEN models are trained on BaseData, which the company describes as the largest proprietary evolutionary genomic dataset, over 100 billion novel genes collected through partnerships in more than 30 countries, and it is taking a pipeline of EDEN-designed therapeutics toward clinical development. The company was founded in London in 2019 by Glen Gowers and Oliver Vince, and has offices and labs in Boston. In September 2026 it raised a $140 million Series C and disclosed six therapeutic programmes.
