Borealis Biosciences
Borealis Biosciences is a Vancouver biotechnology company developing RNA medicines for kidney disease. It was built on the team and thesis behind Chinook Therapeutics, the clinical-stage kidney disease company Novartis acquired in August 2023 for $3.5 billion, and works on targeted delivery of RNA therapeutics to the kidney for chronic conditions that still have no effective treatment. Founded in 2024, it is backed by Novartis and Versant Ventures.
