CRED (members-only app)
CRED is a Bengaluru fintech, operated by Dreamplug Technologies, that runs a members-only app rewarding people with strong credit histories for paying their credit-card bills. It has since added lending through CRED Cash+ and peer-to-peer lending through CRED Mint, insurance distribution through CRED Garage, and UPI payments. Kunal Shah founded the company in 2018. CRED reported operating revenue of Rs 2,735 crore for FY2025, up 16%, with operating losses down 51% to Rs 298 crore. In June 2026 Meta invested about $900 million for a minority stake, and Shah left the chief executive role to run WhatsApp at Meta, with Miten Sampat named interim chief executive.
