Clockwork
Clockwork Systems sells software that keeps large AI training and inference jobs running when the hardware under them fails. Spun out of Stanford research as TickTock Networks in 2018 and renamed Clockwork Systems in 2021, it began with nanosecond-accurate software clock synchronisation and now sells fault tolerance and fabric observability for GPU clusters, so a failed node or a degraded network link costs minutes of recovery rather than a restarted run. It sells to operators of large GPU fleets; LinkedIn, Together AI and WhiteFiber are named adopters.
