Efficient Computer
Efficient Computer designs general-purpose processors built for energy efficiency. Its Fabric architecture is a spatial dataflow design that reduces the instruction and data-movement overhead of conventional processors; its first chip, the Electron E1, is in volume production and is programmed through the company's effcc compiler. Early applications include drones and small robots, critical-infrastructure monitoring, space and defense, and wearable devices, and the company is scaling the architecture toward datacenter-class performance. Efficient Computer was founded in 2022 in Pittsburgh by chief executive Brandon Lucia, chief technology officer Graham Gobieski and chief architect Nathan Beckmann. It raised a $60 million Series A in February 2026 and a $97 million Series B led by TQ Ventures at a $650 million valuation in September 2026, which it said brought total funding to $173 million.
