Evvy operates an at-home, CLIA-certified vaginal microbiome test that uses metagenomic sequencing to identify more than 700 microbes from a single swab, with results reviewed by clinicians and paired with treatment recommendations for conditions such as bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, UTIs, fertility issues and menopause symptoms. It also sells vaginal probiotics and boric-acid and hyaluronic-acid suppositories. The company was founded in 2021 by CEO Priyanka Jain, Chief Science Officer Pita Navarro and Chief Marketing Officer Laine Bruzek, and is headquartered in New York. As of September 2026 it has processed samples for more than 100,000 patients and cites 15 peer-reviewed publications drawing on its dataset.
