Fluidstack
Fluidstack acquires power, designs and builds data centres, and operates them as AI compute infrastructure for frontier AI developers. Founded in 2017 by Gary Wu, César Maklary and Jamie Cox, it relocated its global headquarters from London to New York City in 2026. The company delivers gigawatts of capacity in about six months against an industry norm of 18 to 24 months, and builds data centres for Google and Anthropic: it was selected by Anthropic to deliver custom sites in New York and Texas and is leading the deployment of Anthropic's $50bn compute build-out, one of the largest infrastructure projects in US history. Fluidstack announced an $830m Series A at a $7.5bn valuation in July 2026, followed in September 2026 by $1.5bn led by Jane Street at an $18bn valuation.
