General Intuition

General Intuition is a New York-based frontier AI lab building action and world models, systems that perceive, predict and act in virtual and physical environments. Spun out of the gameplay-clip platform Medal in 2025 by Medal founder Pim de Witte with researchers Eloi Alonso, Adam Jelley and Vincent Micheli, it trains on billions of action-labelled gameplay clips whose embedded button-press records give the models ground-truth actions rather than actions inferred from video alone. The same model has driven agents in Fortnite-style games and a quadruped robot in the real world. It sells access through a commercial API to partners in games, simulation and robotics. It raised a $320m Series A at a $2.3bn valuation in June 2026 and a further $220m at a $6.2bn valuation in September 2026 from investors including Valor Equity Partners, Atreides, 776, Point72, Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst.
