Graphcore
Graphcore is a British semiconductor company that develops the Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU), a massively parallel microprocessor designed for AI and machine learning applications, together with the Poplar software toolchain that compiles models onto it. Founded in Bristol in 2016, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of SoftBank Group in July 2024.
