Harvey builds AI tools for lawyers and other professional-services firms, handling drafting, contract analysis, due diligence and research against a firm's own documents and precedents rather than the open web. Founded in San Francisco in 2022 by a former Silicon Valley litigator and a DeepMind researcher, it sells to large law firms and the professional-services arms of the Big Four, and is one of the most heavily funded companies in legal technology.
