Luma AI
Luma AI is a Redwood City, California-based generative-AI company, founded in 2021, that builds multimodal models for video, image and audio. It began with photorealistic 3D capture from smartphone photos and now sells the Ray video-generation models (Ray3.2, released June 2026), the UNI image and multimodal model, and Luma Agents for running creative work from brief to delivery, through the consumer Luma App and the Luma API. Co-founder Amit Jain is chief executive.
