NewAmsterdam Pharma is a Dutch clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for cardiometabolic disease where existing therapies have proved insufficient or poorly tolerated. The PREVAIL outcomes trial randomised more than 9,500 patients, and in July 2026 the European Medicines Agency's CHMP issued positive opinions recommending marketing authorisation for obicetrapib as a monotherapy and in fixed-dose combination with ezetimibe. European commercialisation rights are licensed exclusively to the Menarini Group.
