Ondo Finance tokenises traditional financial assets for onchain markets, aimed at institutions rather than retail speculation. Its products are OUSG, giving short-term US Treasury exposure with 24/7 minting and redemption; USDY, a permissionless yield-bearing token combining stablecoin utility with daily yield; and Ondo Stocks, which brings over 440 listed equities onchain as transferable, DeFi-usable tokens. Underneath sits Nexus, its instant mint-and-redeem infrastructure, which also serves other issuers including BUIDL, USDC, BENJI, RLUSD and PYUSD. It operates across Ethereum, Solana, Aptos, Sui and Sei, reports total value locked above $3.5bn, and counts BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Franklin Templeton and Ripple among its partners. Founded in 2021 and based in New York; its equities product is not offered in the US.
