Polestar

Polestar is an electric performance car maker that began as Volvo's motorsport and performance arm before being spun out as a standalone brand under Volvo Cars and Geely ownership. Its current range spans the Polestar 2 fastback, the Polestar 3 SUV, the Polestar 4 coupe-SUV and the Polestar 5 grand tourer, offered in single- and dual-motor forms with WLTP ranges of roughly 554 to 706km. It sells largely online with a direct configuration, trade-in and leasing model rather than a conventional dealer network, and bundles home charging through Polestar Energy alongside access to around a million public charge points. It publishes lifecycle assessments for its vehicles, an unusual disclosure in the sector, and is listed on Nasdaq. Its operational headquarters is in Torslanda, Gothenburg, Sweden.
