Proxima Fusion
Proxima Fusion is a Munich fusion-energy company founded in 2023 as a spin-out of the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics. It develops quasi-isodynamic stellarator power plants using high-temperature superconducting magnets. Its program progresses from the Stellarator Model Coil demonstration magnet to the Alpha net-energy demonstrator and the planned Stellaris commercial power plant.
