Proxima Fusion is a Munich fusion-energy company founded in 2023 as a spin-out of the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics. It is developing quasi-isodynamic stellarator power plants built on high-temperature superconducting magnets, and has raised over €600m — including a €468m round, among Europe's largest fusion financings.
