Rasa is a conversational AI company, founded in 2016 in Berlin by Alan Nichol and Alex Weidauer, that sells a platform for building enterprise AI agents. It made its name with the open-source Rasa NLU and Rasa Open Source framework, and now sells Rasa Pro, a licensed pro-code platform built on its CALM approach, alongside Rasa Studio, a no-code builder, and a free Developer Edition. Its US parent, Rasa Technologies Inc, is in San Francisco and its German subsidiary, Rasa Technologies GmbH, remains in Berlin.
