Sedgwick
Sedgwick is the world's largest third-party claims administrator. Founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1969 as National Compensation Services, it handles property, casualty, workers' compensation, disability and absence programmes on behalf of insurers, self-insured corporations and government bodies, from first notice of loss through adjustment and payment to return to work. It employs more than 30,000 people across around 80 countries and is majority-owned by Carlyle with Stone Point Capital and Altas Partners also on the register.
