SpaceXAI is the artificial-intelligence business of SpaceX, formed when SpaceX acquired xAI in an all-stock deal completed on 2 February 2026 that valued xAI at $250 billion and the combined company at $1.25 trillion. Founded as X.AI Corp. in March 2023 by Elon Musk and renamed SpaceXAI in July 2026, it builds the Grok family of large language, text-to-image and text-to-video models, offered through a consumer assistant, an API and integration with X. It operates its own training infrastructure, including the Colossus cluster in Memphis, Tennessee, and closed its acquisition of the Cursor AI coding agent in August 2026. It works from Palo Alto, California and Bastrop, Texas.
