Supabase

Supabase develops an open-source backend development platform built on Postgres, combining a hosted database with authentication, storage, edge functions, real-time subscriptions and vector search, alongside a marketplace of more than 100 integrated partner tools. Founded in 2020, it says more than 13 million developers use the platform, and that by October 2026 it was adding more than 1 million users and 4 million databases a month, with 70% of new databases created by AI agents or AI coding tools. Paul Copplestone, a co-founder, is chief executive. The company raised a $500 million Series F at a $10.5 billion post-money valuation in June 2026, followed by $150 million led by GIC in October 2026, when it also announced it was acquiring the database company Turso.
