TRUMPF is a Ditzingen-based German manufacturer of machine tools, industrial lasers and power electronics, and one of the world's largest makers of sheet-metal fabrication equipment. Its machine tool division, the largest by revenue, builds 2D and 3D laser cutting, punching, bending and laser welding systems; the laser division supplies industrial lasers for cutting, welding and marking; the electronics division makes RF and DC power supplies; and its EUV business produces the high-power CO2 laser amplifiers that drive ASML's extreme-ultraviolet lithography systems for semiconductor manufacturing. It serves automotive, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, medical technology and general sheet-metal processing customers. Founded in 1923 as a mechanical workshop and still family-owned, TRUMPF is led by CEO Nicola Leibinger-Kammueller. At the close of its 2024/25 fiscal year on 30 June 2025 the group reported revenue of EUR 4.3 billion, down 16 percent year on year, with machine tools at EUR 2.4 billion, EUV at EUR 724 million and electronics at EUR 442 million.
