Venus Aerospace

Venus Aerospace is building hypersonic flight on two engine technologies: a rotating detonation rocket engine, which it calls the first fundamental improvement in rocket propulsion in more than sixty years, and the Venus Detonation Ramjet, which pairs that engine with a ramjet to carry a vehicle from takeoff to hypersonic cruise. In 2025 it flew the first US high-thrust rotating detonation rocket engine. Founded by chief executive Sassie Duggleby and chief technology officer Andrew Duggleby, it operates from the Houston Spaceport at Ellington Field in Texas.
