Verily

Verily is a Dallas-based health technology company that builds an AI data platform for precision health, used by life-sciences companies, health systems, payers and public-health agencies to integrate and analyse clinical, research and consumer health data. Its products include Verily Pre, built on the FHIR-native Syntax data model, the Verily Workbench and Viewpoint research environments, the Lightpath care programme and the Sightline wastewater-monitoring service that the CDC selected for its national programme. The company began in 2015 as a Google X project, became an Alphabet subsidiary and moved its headquarters from South San Francisco to Dallas. In March 2026 it raised $300 million in a round led by Series X Capital, after which Alphabet became a minority investor without a controlling stake and the business converted into Verily Health Inc. Stephen Gillett is chairman and chief executive.
