Responsibilities Test and evaluate novel methods for perception and autonomy Develop new methods to solve C-UAS perception challenges Implement solutions into Nordic Air Defence software platform Profile and debug on constrained targets to achieve deterministic, reliable behaviour; participate in architecture discussions and code reviews Work cross-functionally (controls, perception, avionics, mechanical) to deliver integrated system capabilities Required Qualifications Degree in Engineering or Physics with a concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (HW+SW projects) Proficiency with modern software development in C++ and Python Fully proficient in English (working language of the company) Proficiency with Git and Linux-based development environments Must be able to obtain work permit in Sweden Desired Qualifications Demonstrated experience developing and implementing computer vision functionality Experience in robotics SW development for embedded targets SW development for GPU (OpenCL/CUDA) Experience managing technical projects What We Offer A chance to make a truly positive impact on the world and to solve one of the most acute problems facing Europe and our allies, globally Join an exceptional and tight-knit engineering team that is succeeding in designing technology that few others are even attempting Be an early employee in a company with big plans As part of NAD’s recruitment process, a background check is carried out.
