Implementation Engineer
About the Role As an Implementation Engineer at Kody, you will play a critical role in bridging cutting-edge payment solutions with real-world merchant operations. You will empower our hospitality and retail clients to deploy, integrate, and scale Kody’s next-generation payment systems. In this role, you are both a technical practitioner and a trusted advisor. You will take full ownership of merchant onboarding, translating complex operational requirements into reliable, scalable integration architecture. This position is ideal for engineers, technical consultants, or tech-support professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to combine hands-on technical problem-solving with high-impact client engagement. What You’ll Do Drive End-to-End Onboarding: Lead merchant implementation projects from discovery and technical scoping through API integration, terminal deployment, and final go-live. Architect Integration Solutions: Help merchants design and build scalable API-based payment integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between Kody’s payment stack and client PMS/POS systems. Serve as a Technical Consultant: Act as the primary technical contact during rollout, guiding client development teams through system testing, hardware configuration, and operational troubleshooting. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Core Engineering teams to advocate for merchant needs, optimize rollout timelines, and resolve technical blockers. Improve Delivery Standards: Standardize implementation workflows, refine integration documentation, and turn recurring merchant feedback into product enhancement recommendations. Requirements What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in technical implementation, API integration, technical consulting, or tech support roles. Problem-Solving Ability: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex software, network, or hardware integration issues systematically. Client-Facing Aptitude: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical integration workflows to both technical developers and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., hotel managers, finance leads). Adaptability & Autonomy: High self-drive, strong project management skills, and an eager-to-learn mindset in a fast-growing FinTech ecosystem. Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English.
