Deli Assistant - Full Time

SPAR Croi Oige, Athlone Co. Westmeath, require a full time Deli Assistant to join their amazing team. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full Time Deli Assistant. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department. The Role: Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations Maintain a clean and organized deli counter and work area Receive and process deli orders accurately and efficiently Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are well-stocked Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold quality standards Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and achieve department goals The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for food and customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred but not required, as we are willing to train the right individual.
