POSITION OVERVIEW / DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PUESTO: The Boston Red Sox are seeking an Area Scout to cover territory in the Zulia region of Venezuela. In this role, the Area Scout will cover and report on players in Venezuela, collaborate with other scouting staff and leadership, and make recommendations on signing players. The Area Scout will also help with additional assignments/coverages as assigned by immediate supervisors. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Zulia region to be considered. En este rol, el Scout de Área será responsable de dar cobertura y reportar sobre jugadores en Venezuela, colaborar con otros miembros del personal de escouteo y con el liderazgo, y hacer recomendaciones sobre la firma de jugadores. Además, apoyará en tareas adicionales o coberturas según lo asignen sus supervisores inmediatos.
