Job Description Summary ‎ Medical Assistant (Certified) – Full Time (Vera Whole Health) Location: 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA Schedule: Monday–Friday; Thursday 9:30am–6:30pm Pay Range: $20–$25/hr Experience Required: 2+ years Certification Required: CMA/RMA/CCMA Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 Paid Holidays About the Role Vera Whole Health is seeking a compassionate, reliable Certified Medical Assistant to support our primary care clinic in Decatur. You’ll work closely with providers to deliver high‑quality patient care, ensure smooth clinic flow, and support both clinical and administrative operations. This role is ideal for an MA with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a team‑first mindset. ‎ How will you make an impact & Requirements ‎ Key Responsibilities Conduct patient intakes: vitals, medical histories, medications, allergies Assist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing Perform injections , immunizations, phlebotomy, and specimen collection Complete point‑of‑care testing and prepare lab samples Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and clinical room readiness Support triage, care coordination, and patient follow‑up Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care Document accurately in the EHR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards Assist with scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and front‑office support as needed Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork in a fast‑paced clinic What You Bring Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (primary care preferred) Strong skills in injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and EKGs Experience with EHR systems and accurate documentation Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to excellent patient care Strong communication and multitasking abilities Team‑player mindset with consistent attendance Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision insurance 401(k) PTO 13 paid holidays Supportive, collaborative clinic environment ‎ Compensation Range: $18.00 to $27.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
