Responsibilities In short you will build and automate the intelligence that explains performance and guides capital, thereby transforming how Finance works. As a (Senior) Agentic Finance Engineer, you lay the analytical foundation that turns Finance into a decision-intelligence function. The role's mandate is to move Strategic Finance from manual, retrospective analysis toward automated, agent-based decision intelligence - with a focus on portfolio logic, capital allocation, and long-term value creation. You will join our Strategic Finance team. A small, expert team at the centre of corporate decision-making that combines corporate finance, capital allocation, planning, and performance intelligence to explain why performance moves and where capital creates value. The team does this by turning complex questions into clear decision logic, robust business cases, and actionable insights. With direct access to senior management, it helps shape TeamViewer’s strategic direction, advises on key business and capital allocation questions, and facilitates Board-level decisions. Performance & Contextual Intelligence Develop analytical models and frameworks that explain why business performance moves and translate them into decision-ready insights. Go beyond traditional variance analysis to identify structural drivers, second-order effects and long-term implications Automate Finance Logic Design, build and deploy automated and agent-driven analytical workflows that can query complex financial logic, perform contextual performance deep dives and run scenario simulations Decision Product Management Translate financial and strategic logic into scalable, reusable decision-support products rather than one-off analyses or presentations Build intuitive interfaces and analytical tools that enable Finance stakeholders and senior management to access relevant insights efficiently Continuously improve analytical products by tracking adoption, gathering user feedback and enhancing usability and functionality Finance Transformation Support the transformation of the wider Finance organisation towards an AI- and agent-enabled way of working Act as a bridge between Finance, Business Intelligence, Data and Technology teams to ensure harmonised, scalable and interoperable solutions Establish standards, architectures and best practices for using AI and automation within Finance Requirements University degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or a comparable discipline 3+ years of professional experience in Finance, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or a combination of these areas Hands-on experience with automation, AI and modern data architectures (MS Fabric) Hands-on experience with SQL and Python, including data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, first-principles and systems-thinking mindset Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences – from explaining a data model to a CFO to discussing pipeline architecture with an engineer Proactive, collaborative and hands-on working style with a strong sense of ownership What we offer Onsite Onboarding in our HQ office for an optimal start Great compensation and benefits packages including company achievement bonus or sales bonus and regular salary reviews Premiums for the private pension plan ( BAV ) up to the maximum amount are topped up by TeamViewer Public transport friendly offices Option to lease an e-bike (Germany only) Special terms for local gyms Access to Corporate Benefits platform with many discounts Regular Team events and company-wide celebrations Open door policy , no dress code rules, frequent all Hands and Leadership Lunches Hybrid and Flexible work time Work From Abroad Program allowing up to 40 days of work outside your contracting country We celebrate diversity as one of core values, join and drive one of the c-a-r-e initiatives together with us!
