Community Video Reporter - Hammersmith & Fulham

Please note this role is centred around being immersed in the community every day; applicants must either live in Hammersmith & Fulham or have very easy access to the borough. We are looking for an ambitious, confident and community-focused Video Reporter to become the face of a brand-new local news website serving Hammersmith & Fulham. This is a field-based reporting role. You'll spend your working day in Hammersmith & Fulham, discovering stories and producing video journalism directly from the community, rather than working from a traditional newsroom desk. Your primary responsibility will be producing original short-form video journalism. Our AI-powered platform will help transform your reporting into written news articles, allowing you to concentrate on finding stories, filming and engaging with the community. Newsquest is the market leader in using AI to improve and facilitate original, impactful local reporting. Anyone joining our mission to tell better, deeper stories from our communities should share this vision for how AI tech can bring our journalism to bigger and ever-more loyal audiences.
