Come make an impact every day at Zebra. What We're Looking For: As a Production Machine Operator, you will play an essential role in keeping our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized machinery while adhering to the highest safety and quality standards at Zebra Technologies. Your day-to-day contributions will directly support delivering high-reliability solutions to our global customers. Responsibilities: Machine Operation & Setup: Perform full setup and operate rewind/converting machinery to process materials in accordance with work order specifications. Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic mechanical operations and component functions of assigned equipment. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Conduct basic adjustments, diagnostic routines, and minor mechanical troubleshooting using hand tools. Work Order Compliance: Follow detailed work orders, product labeling instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Quality Assurance: Execute routine quality inspections adhering to ISO standards to ensure product integrity and minimize scrap. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow safety regulations, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Team Collaboration: Partner closely with team members and shift supervisors to meet daily production targets and continuous improvement goals. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience. At least 1 year of hands-on machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment. Comfort and readiness to work around heavy industrial machinery. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg) as required during routine setup/material loading. Proven problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. Excellent teamwork , reliability, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : Direct experience in the converting, printing, or flexographic industries . Familiarity with label converting equipment (slitting, laminating, die-cutting, rewinding). Basic computer literacy and fundamental math/measurement skills. Como Operador de Máquinas de Producción, tu rol será fundamental para el funcionamiento de nuestra línea de producción. Serás responsable de operar y mantener maquinaria especializada, asegurando el cumplimiento de los más altos estándares de calidad y seguridad de Zebra Technologies. Responsabilidades: Realizar la configuración completa y operar máquinas de rebobinado para convertir materiales según las especificaciones de la orden de trabajo. Demostrar un entendimiento claro de los funcionamientos mecánicos básicos de la maquinaria asignada. Realizar ajustes, diagnósticos y solución de problemas básicos en los equipos utilizando herramientas manuales. Seguir las instrucciones de las órdenes de trabajo y cumplir con todos los requisitos de etiquetado y producción. Ejecutar pruebas de calidad siguiendo los procedimientos ISO para garantizar la excelencia del producto. Cumplir con todas las normativas de seguridad, incluyendo el uso obligatorio de Equipo de Protección Personal (EPP). Colaborar activamente con tu equipo y supervisor para alcanzar los objetivos de productividad y eficiencia. Requisitos Mínimos: Educación secundaria o equivalente. Al menos un año de experiencia en la industria de manufactura operando maquinaria. Disponibilidad para trabajar con maquinaria pesada y para levantar objetos de hasta 22 kg (50 lbs). Habilidades para la resolución de problemas y capacidad para seguir instrucciones detalladas. Fuerte orientación al trabajo en equipo y excelentes habilidades de comunicación. Requisitos Deseables: Experiencia específica en la industria de conversión o flexografía. Experiencia previa operando equipos de conversión de etiquetas (corte, laminado, etc.). Conocimientos básicos de matemáticas y habilidades informáticas.
